What will I gain from PGN?PGN offers many things you cannot gather from the traditional classroom setting. In addition to what you learn in weekly workshops, you will have access to our extensive alumni network, the ability to develop outstanding leadership skills, professionalism, and friendships to last a lifetime.
-
What sets PGN apart from other business organizations? The biggest thing that sets PGN apart from other organizations is our unique community. The people are what makes us who we are and what makes PGN family.

What if I can’t make a recruitment event? While we have many events during recruitment week, the only ones required are speed dating, social, and formal interviews. If you cannot make it to one of the required events, please email membershipvp.pgn.omicron@gmail.com as soon as possible.
-
What if I don’t own professional attire? We understand that everyone may not have professional attire, and it won't count against you during recruitment. Reach out to membershipvp.pgn.omicron@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can find you a solution!

How can I prepare for formal interviews? In order to prepare for your formal interview, there's a few things you can do ahead of time. Firstly, be familiar with your resume! No one knows your experience better than you do, so be ready to speak about it. Secondly, you will have to answer a few STAR formatted questions. Knowing what a STAR question is and how to answer it is a great way to be prepared. Lastly, just be yourself! PGN is trying to learn more about you and this is our last opportunity to do so. Good luck!
-
What do you look for in a potential new member?PGN looks for likeminded individuals who represent our values and want to give back to the organization.
-
Will not being a business major affect my chances of being accepted?PGN accpets all majors! Your major will have no affect on your chances of being accepted. Regardless if you're a finance major or neuroscience major, we have a home for you in PGN.
-
What does the new member process look like? The new member process in PGN teaches you many things the classroom doesn't. Here are some things you will have the opportunity to accomplish: lead 40 interviews with members of the organization to establish networking skills and expand your knowledge of business; attend weekly professional workshops that cover various topics including devising a stand-out resume, crafting the perfect LinkedIn profile that appeals to recruiters, cold networking; listen to guest speakers from established companies; one on one mock interview practice with members in PGN; and the chance to give back to the organization throughout philanthropic, fundraising, and social events.

What is the time commitment for PGN?Time commitment varies from brothers to new members. New members can expect to devote about 5 hours a week to PGN. Think of it like a 1-2 credit class. Moving into brotherhood, PGN is about a 2 hour commitment per week. As a brother, your experience is what you make of it! We have around 1-3 events per week outside of our general meetings that everyone is encouraged to attend.
